| Hello Knights! Its been a great couple of week for PTO so far. We have been overwhelmed by your support - from the New Student/Kinder Meet and Greet to the Back to School Movie Night, its been great to see so many of you coming out to support KES PTO! As the school year gets into full swing, we have had lots of success with our membership drive already! For the 2016-2017 school year, KES PTO has already purchased math workbooks for several grade levels, the student planners for 3-5 grades, our Accelerated Reader subscription and lots more! Our spirit wear sales have been fantastic too. Its great to see all the students showing their school spirit on Fridays! In the next several weeks, we will be adding online exclusive spirit wear items (polo shirts, billboard shirts, hoodies and more), so stay tuned! If you haven't seen it, please visit our website at kespto.org. You can always easily order additional spirit wear right there. It will also be our main outlet for communicating essential information about upcoming events. Lastly, we will be using the site for all of the Run the Gauntlet registrations and donations. Look for information in the next couple of weeks about RTG and make sure you save the date - RTG 2016 is Friday, November 4th. Thanks again for your support. We hope to see you next week for our first PTO meeting of the school year (Tuesday, 9/13 at 10am)!
To date, we have 305 active members of KES PTO. We are still looking for more families to join and help strengthen our school support. As a reminder, the PTO will award the first classroom in each grade to reach 100% membership by 9/16/16 with a popsicle party. Thank you for joining and we look forward to seeing you at the PTO meeting.
Thanks to all the parents who have expressed interest in volunteer opportunities. Within the next week we will be handing lists to team leaders about who is interested in what committees.
